Hello Ladies!! This Thursday is the National Day of Prayer! People all across the country will be praying! God will be glorified and Ft. Sill PWOC is going to be a part of it! We will meet for regular PWOC and then will meet at Ambrosia Springs on post by the golf course for a time of guided prayer. PRAYER WORKS, ladies, and our country needs prayer! Plan to join us for this special time of bringing joy to our Lord's heart through prayer! ~ Gather at Ambrosia Springs between 12:15 and 12:30 (please make every effort to get there NO LATER than 12:30 so there will be little distraction once we start). ~ We will plan to end around 1:15 or 1:30 but anyone is welcome to stay longer if you'd like. ~ We will break up into groups of 4-6 ladies for prayer. No one will be forced to pray out loud! Silent prayer is just as glorifying to God! ~ There will be light snacks and water bottles provided. If you would like to breeze through the Burger King drive-thru for something for your kids you should have time to do that, but please try to make it to Ambrosia Springs by 12:30! ~ We will need lawn/folding chairs. If you have more than one please bring them for those who may not have any. ~ NOTE TO MOTHERS: There is a playground at Ambrosia Springs. We will set up for prayer at a good distance from the playground to allow for quiet prayer. There will be a group close to the playground for mothers who wish to allow their child(ren) to play. This will cut down on distractions to others. If you choose to allow your child(ren) to play, please recognize that they CANNOT be left unattended! You are encouraged to have your child(ren) participate in the prayer time and play later but if they are just too young, please make arrangements, or perhaps have an older child watch over them on the playground. If your child becomes a distraction, please respect those in prayer and remove your child from the area until they are quiet. ~ In case of inclement weather we will remain at Frontier Chapel and will have a separate room for mothers with children who may not be able to sit quietly. Please keep this in mind and perhaps come prepared with a quiet activity for your child (coloring books, books, etc.). ~ If you have ANY questions, please don't hesitate to contact me! Looking forward to seeing you all on Thursday! ~Erica |
