Several months ago, God placed the seed of an idea into the heart of one of our PWOC ladies. As the idea began to grow, Amanda B found help in the form of a few PWOC sisters.
The idea put on Amanda's heart was this, "Dear Army Family." The goal was to collect 2000 Christmas cards, with notes of appreciation from families and individuals around the country, to be distributed the spouses of the soldiers deployed from Ft Sill.
Seems like a daunting task - but as we know - we can do ALL things through Christ. With His help, Amanda recruited several PWOC sisters to collect and personalize the cards, and with our faithful Crystal H, (PWOC Outreach), our liaison with the unit, there has been over 1200 cards collected and ready to show love to deployed famlies.
We would like to thank Big Mama for her help getting the word out, as well as all those who put forth their time, heart and prayers to show God's love to so many of the ladies at Ft Sill.
